When a firm economic growth in a country is present, how sure are we that it only gives positive outcomes? Are we aware in other affected elements in these scenarios?  Let’s thinks outside the box about the production.

The main causes of good economic growth is a high productivity of our needs and wants that makes a country rich. We all know it came from raw materials extraction in our environment and proceeds to the factories for material processing. But manufacturing pollutes water and land as well. Once pollutants enter the atmosphere or the water system, they can spread far and wide beyond the factory that brings numerous illnesses to humans or should I say all living things. Let me give you a short information about Minamata and Itai-itai diseases. The cause of itai-itai disease is from polluted water irrigation due to sulphuric acid that affects the rice crops while the cause of minamata disease is from organic mercury poisoning in the minamata bay wherein fishes are their primary food which are the carriers of the poison. These diseases causes body complications and death.

Industrial technology nowadays grows fast, it gives us our needs but it also causes end of life. We must develop awareness in taking care of our environment. While we produce things that we need, we should think how it will be done in an eco-friendly way.
